Home Page Welcome to Coastal Bend Pain Management! Michael Tschickardt, M.D., was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended the University of South Florida in Tampa for his undergraduate studies and medical school. Upon graduation from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 1998, he completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Moving to North Carolina, Dr. Tschickardt continued postgraduate training with three years of Anesthesiology residency at Wake Forest University and realized his calling was in the subspecialty of Interventional Pain Medicine. A further year of fellowship training in Pain Medicine was completed at Wake Forest University. Dr. Tschickardt then moved to Corpus Christi where he has practiced interventional pain medicine since 2003. Dr. Tschickardt is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is happy to serve the Coastal Bend area residents who suffer from chronic pain.
